What is The Flagstaff Underground?

The Flagstaff Underground is a 90-minute historical walking tour through downtown Flagstaff, Arizona. Step beyond the usual history tour and discover the people, places, crimes, legends, and hidden stories that helped shape Flagstaff.

Along the way, you’ll visit historic locations throughout downtown while hearing stories from Flagstaff’s Wild West and Route 66 past, including notorious characters, local mysteries, true crime, and the stories behind the city’s legendary “underground tunnels.”

It’s an immersive journey into the hidden side of Flagstaff’s history, bringing the past to life in the very places where it happened.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes and dress weather-appropriate. Along with walking up and down stairs, we will be walking around downtown Flagstaff.

When is the tour available and where do we meet?

When:
Tours run every day. Start times vary by tour:

Flagstaff Underground — 4:30 PM Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM Sat, 3:00 PM Sun
Graves & Ghost Tour — 5:00 PM daily
True Crime Tour — 7:00 PM daily
Weatherford Ghost Tour — 4:30 PM Saturdays
Family-Friendly Ghost Tour — 6:00 PM daily

Flagstaff Underground — 22 E Historic Route 66, inside Firecreek Coffee
True Crime Tour — 3 E Aspen Ave, inside Yogært
Graves & Ghost Tour — 1300 S San Francisco St, Citizen’s Cemetery
Weatherford Ghost Tour — 23 N. Leroux St, inside the Weatherford Hotel lobby
Family-Friendly Ghost Tour — 3 N. Leroux, Suite 202 (side entrance)

Private tours are arranged individually — email us and we’ll confirm your meeting point when we set up your date and time.

Parking:
For the Graves & Ghost Tour, feel free to park inside the cemetery by the entrance, or you can park inside the paid parking structure. (Pay by hour.)
